Turkey Meatballs

After using probably 5 different random recipes each time I wanted meatballs, I’ve decided this recipe is versatile and delicious.

Ingredients

1lb ground turkey

1 egg

1/2 c panko bread crumbs

1/2 a medium yellow onion, chopped fine

Directions

Mix all ingredients together with your hands in a large bowl. Form small balls (I think I usually make about 16 meatballs per batch). Heat a small amount of olive oil in a sautée pan and brown the meatballs on all sides. At this point you can either bake them at 400 for about 10 minutes until they’re cooked all the way through, continue to pan fry them until they’re cooked all the way through, or freeze them at any of these points to save for later use in pasta, mini banh mi subs, or whatever your heart desires.
